Mr. and Mrs. Michael LoConte of Hilton Head Island are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Lauren LoConte of Kansas City, Mo., to James Ryan Henson of Raleigh, N.C., the son of Mrs. Laura Lamb of Greer, S.C., and Mr. Kenneth Henson of Stafford, Va.

The wedding is planned for June 23, 2012 at Providence Presbyterian Church of Hilton Head Island.

The bride-elect graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging Science. She is currently a Teach for America corps member in her second year teaching biology and ecology at De La Salle Charter High School in Kansas City.

The groom-elect graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He is in his final year at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary pursuing a Master of Divinity.
