Dr. Gaston Perez has been appointed medical director of Hospice Care of South Carolina in southern Beaufort County. Perez was a director of the skilled nursing unit at Hilton Head Hospital, a staff physician at the Jasper County Detention Center and an urgent care physician at Hilton Head Clinics.
