Savannah College of Art and Design announced local students named to the dean's list for the fall quarter of the 2011-12 school year. Full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the quarter receive recognition on the dean's list.
The students are: Daphne Hutcheson, Connie Zeoli and Marian Zeoli of Beaufort.
The Technical College of the Lowcountry recently inducted local members into its Alpha Lambda Beta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, which emphasizes scholarship, leadership and service. To be considered for full membership, a student must be enrolled in an associate degree program, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 with at least 12 semester hours credit in degree level courses, be of good moral character, and possess recognized qualities of citizenship.
The students are: Julia Allan, Sherry Campbell, Fabiola Eads, Brett Freed, Robert Hummel, Renee' Langston, Ramona Moncibais, Tina Ormanian, Ashley Saullo, Tomika Saunders, Tammy Therrien and Jennifer Wainscott of Beaufort; Sandra Bayne of Lady's Island; and Stewart Richardson of Parris Island.
