Packet College Honors for Dec. 12

  • The Technical College of the Lowcountry recently inducted local members into its Alpha Lambda Beta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, which emphasizes scholarship, leadership and service.

  • To be considered for full membership, a student must be enrolled in an associate degree program, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 with at least 12 semester hours credit in degree level courses, be of good moral character, and possess recognized qualities of citizenship.

    The students are: Stephanie Brumley, Lisa Cramer and Nicole Viskovich of Bluffton; Sarah Asbrey of Okatie; Kendra Barnes of Hardeeville; and Jovonn Sumter of Hilton Head Island.

  • Courtney Boryk received her master's degree in Academic Advising and Collegiate Counseling from Kansas State University on Saturday.

  • Courtney, daughter of Julie Jilly of Hilton Head Island and Kevin Hood of Bluffton, is a graduate of Hilton Head Island High School and the College of Charleston.
