Lewis Glenn III “Butch” and Angie Morton of Beaufort announce the engagment of their daughter, Kristin Elizabeth Morton of Bluffton, to Tyler Andrew Melnick of Bluffton, the son of Alan and Cindy Spradley of Neeses, S.C.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of The Technical College of the Lowcountry with an Associates Degree in Nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse with Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

The groom-elect is a 2003 graduate of The Citadel with a Bachelor of Arts in political science. He is a 2006 graduate of Mississippi College School of Law with a Juris Doctorate. He is employed by the law firm of Finger and Fraser, PA as an associate attorney.

The wedding is planned April 28, 2012 at the Church of the Cross in Bluffton.
