Hilton Head High 48, Hardeevile 25: Michael Julien had 15 points and 11 rebounds to propel the Seahawks at home.
Alex MacDonald added 11 points and six rebounds for Hilton Head High, which controlled the game from the onset. The Seahawks led 28-8 at halftime.
Rico Bolden had 12 points and three steals for the Hurricanes. Nazir Wilson added five points, and Aljaray Manuel had four points, seven rebounds, two blocks and three steals.
Hilton Head High (1-2) travels to Whale Branch on Friday. Hardeeville (1-1) plays at Estill on Friday.
Wilson Hall 53, Hilton Head Christian 46 (2OT): The Eagles jumped out to a big lead, going ahead 14-3 after one quarter, but they weren't able to hold on.
"We had some looks down the stretch," Eagles coach Kenny Conroy said. "Missed a lot of layups, a lot of chippies, down the stretch that we usually make."
The Eagles led by two points with 15 seconds left in regulation, but missed the front end of a one-and-one and Wilson Hall was able to tie up the score. The Eagles had a chance to win in regulation, but didn't make the shot.
Brad Meccariello led Hilton Head Christian (3-2) with 20 points. Taylor MacDonald added 14 points and Zach Reynolds had eight.
The Eagles host Augusta Christian on Saturday.
Bible Baptist 69, Hilton Head Prep 62: The Dolphins suffered their third loss in four games despite 20 points and 14 rebounds from sophomore Shaun Topper.
Fellow sophomore John Sheehan chipped in 19 points, and junior Logan Clark added eight points and five steals for Hilton Head Prep.
The Dolphins' Randy Young grabbed 11 rebounds.
"We played hard, but defensively we did not play well," coach Bob Sulek said.
Hilton Head Prep (1-3) hosts Augusta Christian on Friday.
Beaufort Academy 53, Cathedral Academy 26: Jack Griffith had 13 points, and Connor Akers added 11 points and seven rebounds to lead the Eagles. Billy Dailey had six points, six rebounds and seven steals.
Beaufort Academy (3-1 overall, 2-0 region) hosts Charleston Collegiate on Thursday.
Cathedral (1-4) was led by Ryan Caldwell with eight points.
Hilton Head High 49, Hardeeville 20: Sabrina Drammis had 14 points, seven rebounds, six steals and three assists to lead the Seahawks to victory over visiting Hardeeville.
Macy King and Tashawna Washington added eight points each for the Seahawks (2-1). Lauryn Bush had seven points and four steals, and Americal Jenkins had six points and eight rebounds. Jamese Franklin had four steals and three assists for Hilton Head High, which plays at Whale Branch on Friday.
Hardeeville (0-1) was led by Doe with seven points. Hill added six.
Bible Baptist 43, Hilton Head Prep 28: Gracie Anderson had 16 points and 20 rebounds as the Dolphins fell to 0-4 on the season. Taylor Kent added six points and 13 rebounds, and Brooke Churchich had six points and two steals for Prep, which hosts Augusta Christian on Friday.
Beaufort Academy 44, Cathedral Academy 17: Megan Debardelaben had a double-double the hard way, making 10 steals and grabbing 10 rebounds, to lead the Eagles to the win. She led a defense that had a season-best 31 steals.
Miranda Weslake nearly had a double-double, too, scoring a game-high 18 points to go with nine steals. Charlotte Delfosse added nine points, and Katherine Neal had seven for Beaufort Academy (4-1 overall, 2-0 region), who host Charleston Collegiate in a key early-season region matchup at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Katie Burnett led Cathedral with 11 points.
Wilson Hall 62, Hilton Head Christian 35: Lauren Davis scored 20 points, and Audrey Bensch and Addison Bensch added four each in the loss.
The Eagles (1-5) host Ashley Hall on Friday.
Battery Creek wins three: The Dolphins won three duals Tuesday night in Savannah, knocking off Johnson 57-21, Windsor Forest 66-15 and Beach 75-6. Heavyweight David Ratliff went 3-0 on the night. Deandre Johnson (152), Brian Labean (145) and Josh Green (138) each went 2-0.
Battery Creek (11-4) is scheduled to wrestle in Bamberg-Ehrhardt's Red Raider Invitational on Saturday.
