The Photography Club of Beaufort is celebrating the roots of American music at the club's annual exhibit, beginning today in the second floor gallery of the Beaufort library.
The library asked the club to coordinate its yearlong project with the traveling Smithsonian exhibit "New Harmonies: American Roots Music" which will be coming to the library in mid-December. Club members spent the past year photographing aspects of American music. The exhibit, "Celebrating American Music," includes more than 40 photographs and runs through Jan. 30. For library business hours, call 843-255-6456.
The photography club meets the second Monday of each month at ARTworks, 2127 Boundary St. in Beaufort.
