Whale Branch 42, Bishop England 29: Leroy Perry had 12 points and 13 rebounds to help the Warriors open their season with a win Saturday at Charleston Math & Science's Riptide Classic.

Eric Frazier added eight points and four steals, and Andre Watson had six points and two steals. Stedmon James added five points and a pair of steals, and Leon Hazel tallied five points and three assists for Whale Branch (1-0), which faces Stall at 1 p.m. today in the tournament.
