The witching hour draws nigh ... have you entered our costume contest?

From Janet Sheffield of Ridgeland: My daughter Kim Taylor of Ridgeland made these "Angry Birds" costumes. In the picture you see Colsen "Red Bird," Kim holding Graham "Piggy," Macy is "Yellow Bird" and family friend, Rowan Pinckney, as "Black Bird." Kim hand-made these costumes by making up her own pattern by just looking at the video game.

Are you getting in the spirit for Halloween? Before you hit the streets in search of tricks, treats and whatever else might be lurking in the shadows, send us a picture of your costume for our contest.

The top four photos will win a $25 prize, courtesy of Abracadabra -- Masquerade, Gag Gift and Magic Emporium, at 1009 Fording Island Road, Suite 104, Bluffton.
