Project Connect for Oct. 31

Project Connect is a partnership between the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce and local schools to help teachers get supplies or services.

WISHES GRANTED

HILTON HEAD ISLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

  • Fourth-grade teacher Becca Shupp recently had her wish for pencil pouches granted by Walmart.

  • BLUFFTON MIDDLE SCHOOL

  • Seventh-grade science teacher Lauren Casto recently had her wish for 100 composition notebooks, colored printer paper, construction paper, notecards (colored and plain), glue sticks, markers, crayons, colored pencils, plastic spoons and packaging tape granted by Walmart.

  • Mary Ellen Nygaard, sixth grade, English language arts: Post-it notes; marble composition notebooks; 1/2 inch binders; pencils; pens (green, red and blue pens for writing workshop); books of any genre for middle school children; Crayola thin markers (classic colors)

  • Faris Feuers, sixth grade, English language arts: books for classroom library; chart stand; chart paper/tablets

  • HILTON HEAD ISLAND EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER

  • Martha Reese, kindergarten: box of copy paper
