Eight colors, amazing results

The group selected eight colors for each member's palette, then went their separate ways. Each artist chose a particular theme to expand upon.

"We found that doing it this way can help you understand how to work with each of the colors and learn how they relate to each other," said member Nancy Mitchell.

Other artists and their motifs:

  • Mitchell, Children

  • Linda Mack, Historic Savannah

  • Pepi McNair, Beach scenes from Dolphin Head

  • Linda Nickles, Waterscapes of the Lowcountry

  • Annie Smithers, Horses

  • Bing-ie Tan, Animals in Nature

  • The arts center's Walter Greer Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and one hour before showtimes. The exhibit runs through Oct. 29.
