Project Connect for Sept. 26

Project Connect is a partnership between the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce and local schools to help teachers get supplies or services.

WISHES GRANTED

HILTON HEAD ISLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

  • Teacher Emily Harrison recently had her wish for class snacks, Crayola markers, Clorox wipes and books granted by Zonta Club of Hilton Head Island and David Mudwilder of A Taste of Hilton Head. Here, Harrison poses with her first-grade class.
  • Third- and fourth-grade gifted and talented teacher Trish Smoot recently had her wish for highlighters granted by Fred Dasheveski.

  • First- and second-grade ESOL teacher Martha Kristian recently had her wish for blue and red soft-covered composition books granted by Fred Dasheveski.

  • Fourth-grade homeroom teacher Becca Shupp recently had her wish for pencil pouches, view finder binders, pencils and markers granted by Fred Dasheveski.
