Shakiema and James Barnes of Ridgeland announce the birth of a daughter, Samiyah Jewelle Dorothy Barnes, at 6 p.m. Sept. 6 at Hilton Head Hospital.

The newborn weighed 8 pounds and measured 21 1/4 inches.

She has a brother, Jahliel, 7.

Maternal grandparents are Veronica and Matthew Bolden of Ridgelnd.

Corinne and Thomas Kelly of Hilton Head Island announce the birth of a son, Wyatt James Kelly, at 11:18 a.m. Aug. 23 at Hilton Head Hospital.

The newborn weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and measured 19 inches.

He has a brother, River, 3.

Maternal grandparents are Nancy Hibbett of Bluffton and James Tirpok of Hagerstown, Md.

Paternal grandparents are Mary Ann Lynn of Macungie, Pa., and Thomas Kelly of Hilton Head.

Trey Shaner

Roni Yarussi and Brian Shaner of Bluffton announce the birth of a son, Trey Ronin Shaner, at 5:04 p.m. Sept. 9 at Hilton Head Hospital.

The newborn weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces, and measured 19.5 inches.

Maternal grandparents are Patricia Yarussi of Vandergrift, and the late Ronald Yarussi.

Paternal grandparents are Brenda and Jeff Shaner of Savannah.
