Marlena Smalls & The Hallelujah Singers will perform live at 6 p.m. Saturday at The Kennedy Center Millennium Stage in Washington, D.C., during the celebration of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. There they will present the plantation melodies of the South Carolina Lowcountry.
