Ian Lee of Hilton Head Island was named to the Winthrop University dean's list for the spring 2011 semester.
Michael Scruggs of Hilton Head Island was named one of Santee Cooper's 11 environmental interns this summer at Clemson University. Interns get a hands-on understanding of the many traditional and renewable resources used to make electricity and the importance of balancing environmental issues with real-time electrical demand.
