Timothy and Daryl Ann Burke announce the marriage of their daughter Meghan Lorraine to Douglas Nathan Hattaway, son of Greg and Gail Hattaway of Summerfield, Florida.

The ceremony and reception took place at 6 p.m. on June 18, 2011 at the Berkeley Hall clubhouse in Bluffton. Francesco Marshall, friend of the bride’s family, officiated. The bride chose her father to give her away.

Sisters of the bride Erin Burke of Chicago, Illinois and Shannon Burke of Columbia, South Carolina served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Devon Wade of Brooklyn, New York, Gabrielle Harbin of Boca Raton, Florida, and Erin Kelly of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Bill Spurrell of Tampa, Florida, friend of the groom, served as best man. The groom’s attendants were Tim Tedder of Ocala, Florida, Garrett Burke of Hilton Head, and Laura McDonald of Lubbock, Texas.

The bride is a Ph.D. candidate in 19th-century British Literature at The Ohio State University. The groom is an attorney at the law firm of Weltman, Weinberg, and Reis.

The couple resides in Columbus, Ohio. An October honeymoon to Playa del Carmen, Mexico is planned.
