Gift card fundraiser to benefit animal shelters

The Hilton Head Humane Association is collecting gift cards from Petco, PetSmart and Walmart for a gift card fundraiser to be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the shelter on Hilton Head Island. The gift cards will be given to animal shelters in Mississippi and Missouri affected by the recent tornadoes and flooding. There will be live entertainment, refreshments and prize giveaways at the event.
