Thomas, Gillentine

Elizabeth Woodley Thomas and Clayton Kyle Gillentine of Waco, Texas were married at half past five o'clock in the afternoon on July 2, 2011 in The Baptist Church of Beaufort.

Dr. Jim Wooten, pastor at the church, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Marietta Pulliam of Beaufort and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Thomas of Beaufort. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Gillentine of Greenville, Texas.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Wallace Thomas and her mother, Marietta Pulliam. Matron of honor was Clara Thomas Smith of Columbia, sister of the bride.

The bride wore a silk, ivory strapless dress by Blue by Enzoani. The full A-line gown was ruched on the top and adorned with beading at the waist line. She wore a cathedral-length veil.

Bridesmaids were Amy Arnold of Charlotte, N.C., Jessica Frishberg of Atlanta, Liz Fehr Paige of Augusta, Ga., Nandana Shenoy of London, U.K., and Ryian Nash Smith of Greenville, S.C. Junior bridesmaid was Harper Gillentine, niece of groom.

Don Gillentine, brother of the groom, served as best man.Groomsmen were Russ Horton of The Colony, Texas, Cody Brooks of Little Elm, Texas, J.T. McCarroll of Plano, Texas, and Roy Harwell of Houston, Texas.

Flower girl was Josie Gillentine, niece of the groom. Ring bearer was Wilson Smith, nephew of the bride.

Honorary bridesmaid was Kathryn Burdette Irwin. Honorary groomsman was Blaine Webb. Ringer of the church bell, guest book attendants and program attendants were Courtney, Caroline and Catherine Coxwell.

The photographer was John Wollwerth, soloist was Michele Smith and wedding planner was Lacie Behnke.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Traditions Club on Parris Island with Ocean Drive Party Band as the entertainment.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Thomas Heyward Academy. She graduated in 2002 from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. In 2006, she received her Master's in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is employed as a physical therapist at St. Catherine's Subacute Care Unit in Waco.

The groom graduated from Greenville High School in 1997. He received his Bachelor's degree in Leadership Development from Texas A&M University. He is employed as a warehouse management project supervisor at Tractor Supply Co. based at the Waco Distribution Center.

Following a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Waco, Texas.
