Men of area churches will be honored with music and food this weekend in honor of Father's Day.

Today at noon, Greater Pentecostal Temple of Hardeeville will honor all men of the church by preparing and serving a Father's Day luncheon. The church is at 5905 South Okatie Highway in Hardeeville. Details: 843-784-6988, 866-708-3686

A women's choir will serenade the men of Providence Presbyterian Church of Hilton Head Island at 9 and 11 a.m. services Sunday with songs such as "Peace Like a River," "When We All Get to Heaven" and "You are My Hiding Place." The children and adults returning from their mission project in Puerto Rico also will talk about their experiences. Servants of all ages are still being sought to help with the "When Jesus was a Kid" vacation Bible school that Providence and St. Luke's Church will conduct June 27 through July 1. MT. CALVARY MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH

The Cantate youth choir from Suncreek United Methodist Church in Allen, Texas, will have lunch today at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and help map the historic Gullah Tailbird Cemetery in Hilton Head Plantation.

The church will celebrate the pastor's 36th anniversary at 4 p.m. Sunday with the youth department's play. Services continue at 7:30 p.m. Monday-Friday with guest churches: Monday, Queen Chapel AME and Central Oak Grove; Tuesday, St. James and First African Baptists; Wednesday, St. Matthews Baptist, Second Gethsemane and Terrestrial Paradise; Thursday, Providence and First Presbyterian; and Friday, Second Ebenezer Baptist. Services will conclude at 4 p.m. June 26 with Bethesda Christian Fellowship.

THE PARISH CHURCH OF ST. HELENA, PRAISE ASSEMBLY

There will be three sessions of Veggie Fun World at the church this summer. All children will design their own unique T-shirt with each session's theme. Session one coincides with the older children's vacation Bible school program in cooperation with Praise Assembly in Shell Point.

Vacation bible school and Veggie Fun World I are 9 a.m.-noon Monday-Friday. Cost is $130 a child for ages 18 months to 6 years.

Veggie Fun World II is 9 a.m.-noon July 18-29 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Cost is $145.
