ACHIEVEMENTS

  • These students from the Beaufort County School District were accepted to programs at the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities: Hilton Head Island High School, Reece Graham for drama and Keelin Sanz for drama; H.E. McCracken Middle School, Charlie Hickey for drama and Kendall Hinson for music.

    EVENTS

  • Area students in kindergarten through seventh grade are invited to participate in the Beaufort County School District's free virtual summer school program. Students can work on individual areas of need or prepare for the coming school year by using a Web-based tool during the eight-week program this summer. Students will complete CompassLearning sequences in math and language arts for each week of summer school. The program will be available today through Aug. 5.   • Summer school will be June 27-30, July 5-8 and July 11-14.

  • Students in fifth through eighth grades are eligible for the Middle School Robotics Camps this summer. Registration is required.
