A painting created by students Lorelei Riel and Erica Hefner, with assistance from Franklin Price, will be displayed during the Gullah Festival beginning May 26 at Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park. The theme illustrates the lyrics from the Gullah song "Michael Row the Boat Ashore." Fall cheerleading tryouts will be from 2:45-4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday in the small gym.
