Project Connect is a partnership between the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce and local schools to help teachers get supplies or services.

Wish list

HILTON HEAD ISLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

  • Trish Smoot, third through fifth grade, gifted and talented, reading and math: Barnes & Noble gift cards

    HILTON HEAD ISLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL

  • Mr. Sikora, eighth grade: granola bars; individual bags of pretzels and chips; cheese crackers; bottles of water; Gatorade; monetary donations; and a Sam's Club gift card for the class trip to Washington, D.C.

    HILTON HEAD ISLAND HIGH SCHOOL

  • Larry Mercer, ninth through 12th grade, choral music: donations to help sponsor a student for the chorus trip to Carnegie Hall on April 24 (cost per student is $1,290)

  • Monique Dobbelaere, ninth through 12th grade, drawing and painting: hair dryers

    HILTON HEAD ISLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

  • Jennifer Weitekamper, first and second grade: 20 1/4-by-15-by-15-inch and five 1/8-by-15-by-15-inch clear acrylic Plexiglass sheets to make five 5-sided clear presentation/display boxes; or pre-made, clear display boxes of minimum 15-by-15-by-15-inch dimensions
