A reception for U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minnesota, will be from 7 to 9 p.m. April 15 at the home of Keith and Kimberly Tatro, 28 Barton's Run Drive in Bluffton.
Tickets are $175 per couple and $100 per person.
Bachmann became the first Republican woman from Minnesota elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2006 and won a second term in 2008.

Bachmann will make two additional local appearances April 16:
She will speak to the Bluffton Tea Party at 10 a.m. at the Golden Corral restaurant on Fording Island Road. Guests should arrive at 9 a.m. if they want to eat before Bachmann speaks. Information: blufftonteaparty@aol.com.
Also, Bachmann and state Sen. Tom Davis, R-Beaufort, will speak at a nonpartisan, voter-registration event from 2 to 6 p.m. The previously announced venue has been changed to the roundabout in Buckwalter Place, according to a Bluffton Tea Party news release. There is no charge for this event. Participants are encouraged to bring their own chairs. Coolers, pets and signs will not be allowed.
