Gordon and Sue Bash of Beaufort celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary March 10, 2011.

They met as high school sweethearts in Kenton, Ohio, where they were married on March 10, 1961.

Gordon and Sue rooted their love in a shared commitment to Christ and their family, which they raised in Findlay, Ohio; Ridgecrest, Calif.; and Beaufort. They have three children, Greg Bash of San Diego, Calif.; Bret Bash of Savannah, Ga.; and Chad Bash of Washington, D.C., and four grandchildren.
