2009 Matanzas Creek Sauvignon Blanc, California; $20

If you're looking for a terrific wine that will pair perfectly with lighter grilled meals, this sauvignon blanc is your winner. It starts with a nose of yellow grapefruit notes and herbal qualities that leads into a fresh and crisp tasting experience. Layers of citrus zest, ripe melon and a creaminess grab the taste buds with each sip. The finish perfectly balances the fruit and acidity, allowing the fruit to stay in the mouth and the acid to cleanse the palate. It's a terrific wine for the price.

99 Bananas, United States; $18

This banana schnapps' nose reminds you of banana taffy. This is a terrific mixing schnapps. Use it in any drink with traditional banana flavors, such as coladas and daiquiris, or try it in some new ones, such as a White Russian with a banana twist. If you're looking for extreme banana flavor, then grab a bottle of 99 Bananas. It will not disappoint.
