Harvey and Linda Tallmadge of Johnson City, Tenn., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Tallmadge, to Kevin Kreissl of Alpharetta, Ga., the son of Scott and Terry Kreissl of Hilton Head Island.

The bride-elect graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2003 and now works as a freelance actress.

The groom-elect graduated from Indiana University in 1995 and works for Automatic Data Processing and as a freelance actor.

The wedding is planned Aug. 19, 2011.
