Jim and Melba Kersey of Bluffton announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen Kersey, to Christopher Clark of Bluffton, the son of Keith and Beth Clark of Bluffton.

The wedding is planned Aug. 27, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Bluffton.

The bride-elect graduated from Bluffton High School in 2007 and is currently attending Anderson University in Anderson, S.C. She will graduate in May of 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a certificate in Early Childhood Education.

The groom-elect graduated from Bluffton High School in 2006 and is a recent graduate of the University of South Carolina Beaufort with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management.
