For years of dedication

Thanks to the hotels that donated the food, and to their banquet personnel who prepared and served it, for the Martin Luther King Day Community Lunch after the march and memorial program Jan. 17: The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa, the Hilton Head Marriott Resort & Spa, the Crowne Plaza Resort and the Hilton Oceanfront Resort. These four hotels have been sponsoring this event for many years, and we are deeply grateful to them.

Also, thanks to Hilton Head Island High School and its principal, Amanda O'Nan, for once again hosting the Martin Luther King Day Celebration; to our guest speaker, the Rev. Dr. Nannette Pierson, founder of the Sandalwood Food Pantry; and to all of the participants in the march and the program, we extend our thanks.

We members of the committee, and the residents of the Town of Hilton Head Island, appreciate the dedication and hard work you provide every year to make this happen.
