Packet Thank You Letters for Nov. 22

November 22, 2010

For festival success

I want to extend my sincere thank you to the many individuals it took to stage our ninth annual Concours d'Elegance & Motoring Festival. We can take great pride as this year was our most successful, with more than 13,000 attendees participating in Motoring Festival Week.

We could not have done it without the more than 350 volunteers, our hard-working board of directors, the festival staff, the many local and national sponsors and the more than 400 exhibitors displaying their beautiful vehicles.

We also appreciate the support of the Town of Hilton Head Island and beautiful Honey Horn, where we hold the event.

We have created an event we can be proud of and one that is attracting many new visitors to Hilton Head and Bluffton to eat in our local restaurants, stay in area hotels and enjoy our many amenities. The Hilton Head Concours d'Elegance & Motoring Festival is now considered one of the top events of its kind in the country. Thank you to all who spend tireless hours to make it happen.

To Pino Gelato

Pino Gelato finds many ways to support Maranatha Farm's work to rescue sick and injured homeless animals. The restaurant send us a donation check each and every month, dependable as the sun coming up, and every so often when the Lord is especially blessing them, it sends a bonus check just to celebrate.

Pino Gelato is always there when we put on a special event, giving away its delicious Italian ice cream and talking to people about adopting a rescue animal instead of buying from a puppy mill.

Lately, Pino Gelato employee Claire Tulas has been fostering kittens for us, starting with little Eli, who needed a lot of care for his poor little amputated tail. Eli was well-healed and socialized when we found him his forever home.

Claire has more of a challenge now with one of the feral kittens we got from Hilton Head. These babies are taking a whole lot of handling to turn them into adoptable kittens.

This letter is to say how much we appreciate all that Pino Gelato is doing for Maranatha Farm.
