Amanda and Joshua Whatley of Beaufort announce the birth of a son, Jacob Charles Whatley, at 12:31 p.m. Sept. 18 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

The newborn weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces, and measured 20.5 inches.

He has a brother, David, 4, and a sister, Katie, 2.

Maternal grandmother is Kathryn Novak of Paulden, Ariz.

Paternal grandmother is Peggy Dupree of Conroe, Texas.

Moriah Pacheco

Ashley Pacheco of Beaufort announces the birth of a daughter, Moriah Grace Pacheco, at 10:28 a.m. Sept. 19 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

The newborn weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and measured 20 inches.

Maternal grandmother is Susan Greco of Beaufort.

Zoe Vermilyea

Kate and Jody Vermilyea of Bluffton announce the birth of a daughter, Zoe Catherine Vermilyea, at 9 a.m. Sept. 18 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

The newborn weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces, and measured 18.5 inches.

Maternal grandparents are Pam and Steve Torborg of Okatie.

Paternal grandparents are Sandra and Jim Vermilyea of Bluffton.

Chase Logan

Keri and Robert Logan of Beaufort announce the birth of a son, Chase Matthew Logan, at 2:42 p.m. Sept. 10 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

The newborn weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces, and measured 19.5 inches.

He has a sister, Sarah, 11.

Maternal grandparents are Candy Adragna and Tom Rolfe of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Emma and Vito Adragna of Whittier, Calif.

Paternal grandparents are Debbie and Ski Zaciewski of Adel, Ga., and Karen and Bud Logan of Morgantown, W.Va.

Michael Light

Cara and Scott Light of Hilton Head Island announce the birth of a son, Michael Nicholas Light, at 6:36 a.m. Sept. 14 at Hilton Head Hospital.

The newborn weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces, and measured 22 inches.

Maternal grandmother is Martha Mouzourakis of Bluffton.

Paternal grandparents are Donna and Mike Light of Danville, Va.
