5 arrested in Ridgeland drug raid

Five people were arrested early Saturday by the Beaufort/Jasper Multi Agency Drug Task Force during a drug raid.

Officers searched a residence on Captain Bill Road in Ridgeland at about 5 a.m., according to news release from the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office. All the suspects live at the same address.

Officers seized crack cocaine, Xanax, Oxycontin, Oxycodone, marijuana, cocaine and $6,249 in cash.

Arrested were:

• Nathaniel D. Wright, 26, on charges of trafficking crack cocaine and Xanax, and possession of cocaine and marijuana.

• Derick L. Wright, 30, trafficking Oxycodone and possession of cocaine and marijuana.

• Duwad Fletcher, 31, trafficking crack cocaine and Xanax, and possession of cocaine and marijuana.

• Antonio Lexiz, 27, trafficking crack cocaine and Xanax, and possession of cocaine and marijuana.

• Antwain Drake, 27, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, trafficking Oxycodone and possession of cocaine and marijuana.
