Summerville def. Beaufort High: Beaufort High earned two first-place finishes in Tuesday's home meet against Summerville. Jessica Barras won the 100 butterfly in a time of 1:09.77. The 200 freestyle relay team of Barras, Elizabeth Mandel, Brittany Sutton and Carly Smith took first in a time of 1:55.41.
The Eagles also had several second-place finishes. The 200 medley relay team of Kristyn Weidenhof, Barras, Mandel and Sutton was second in 2:09.54. Sutton also took second in the 50 freestyle in 27:94 and second inthe 100 freestyle in 1:00.61. Mandel was second in the 500 freestyle in 6:34.43 and second in the 100 backstroke in 1:12.87.
For the boys, David Avard was second in the 50 freestyle in 25:72 and second in the 100 freestyle in 55:37.
The 200 freestyle relay team of Avard, Luca Kimbrell, Forrest Kimbrell and Hunter Dean took second in 1:55.08.

Liz Buterbaugh had 11 kills and four blocks, Christine Quinn had six service aces and three kills and Brooke Churchich added 12 assists.
Thomas Heyward 3, Charleston Collegiate 0: Chandler Cook had five kills, five aces, one dig and 15 service points, leading Thomas Heyward to a 25-14, 25-15, 25-20 victory.
Andrea Daring had 10 kills, five aces, one dig and nine assists. Ashlie Layman had four kills, two aces and nine assists.
Thomas Heyward (3-2, 1-1) will host Beaufort Academy at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
Whale Branch 3, Bowman 0: Whale Branch won its second match of the season, beating Bowman in straight sets, 25-12, 25-15, 25-12.
Jamie Whalen had six aces and five kills, Deborah Fields had two aces and seven kills, Chantel Small had two aces, Madison Summerill had three aces and two assists while Danielle Scott had one ace and one assists. Vanessa Scott had 18 aces, one kill and two assists. Whale Branch (2-0) will face Ridgeland and Estill at 6 p.m. on Thursday in a tri-match at Estill.

Fort Dorchester quad-meet: Hilton Head High posted another impressive win, beating Bluffton, Beaufort High and host Fort Dorchester in a four-team meet.
Lilly Bartell and Jackie Budidharma led the way for the Seahawks, each firing a 37. Bluffton's Sammie Buchannan was the low medalist at 35.
