Artists to show 'different strokes' at Hilton Head exhibit

Hilton Head Island artist Caroll Williams checks the dimensions of a frame for one of her abstract pieces Thursday at her Sea Pines home. Williams is one of 13 Lowcountry abstract artists featured in the art exhibition Different Strokes at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina on Hilton Head. The opening reception will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Walter Greer Gallery. On Saturday, visitors can have coffee with the artists and participate in a gallery walk starting at 10:30 a.m. The exhibition will run through Sept. 24. Admission to all events is free.
