Pets on the Promenade event set for Sept. 11

Hilton Head Monthly's fourth annual Pets on the Promenade will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 11 at the Calhoun Street Promenade in old town Bluffton. The afternoon party will spotlight pet-centric stores and products from all over the Lowcountry, including clothes, toys, accessories and specialty foods and treats, as well as services such as grooming and boarding.

There will be an oyster roast, hot dogs and burgers for pet owners, and live music by White Liquor. The event benefits the Hilton Head Humane Association, who will be on hand with a wide assortment of furry friends looking for new homes. Admission to the event is free, though the oyster roast is cash only.
