The following reports were released Friday by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office and the Beaufort Police Department:

BEAUFORT

CAR BREAK-IN

Broad Street: iPod worth $250 stolen from unlocked car.

BLUFFTON

PROPERTY DAMAGE

Fording Island Road: Unidentified driver went off the road just before 8 a.m. Thursday, causing damage worth an estimated $5,000 to a Palmetto Electric Cooperative utility pole, $3,000 to property owned by Indian Hill Baptist Church and $500 to property owned by Hargray Communications.

HILTON HEAD ISLAND

THEFT

Southwind Drive: Two laptop computers worth $1,700 each stolen.

South Forest Beach Drive: Recreational/sports equipment worth $1,050, household goods worth $420 and tools worth $300 stolen.

LADY'S ISLAND

THEFT

Familia Lane: Computer worth $900, electronics worth $2,700 and other goods worth $207 stolen.
