De Ja Vu Upscale Resale -- formerly called Designer Consigner -- relocated to 913 Bay St. earlier this month hoping to get more business from tourists visiting downtown Beaufort and more foot traffic, owner Melissa Kinard said Friday.
"We are now doing daily what we had been doing weekly," Kinard said. "It's been phenomenal. It's the best thing we ever did."
The store first opened about six months ago on Burton Hill Road and offered mostly vintage and used clothing, Kinard said.
At 2,800 square feet, the new De Ja Vu Upscale Resale features more than double the space of the previous Designer Consigner location, she said.
With that space came room for a wider variety of offerings -- antique and modern furnishings, bridal and formal wear, separate sections for men's and juniors clothing, sun readers, and a mix of new and used jewelry and accessories, Kinard said.
She described the offerings as funky, vintage, retro and unique.
"It's upscale, but I want it to appeal to the younger crowd as well," Kinard said.
The store will host a grand opening and ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Store hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Other recent business openings, closings and changes in the area:
• TD's Sports Grill in Beaufort has closed. The restaurant opened in June 2009 in the Beaufort Plaza on Robert Smalls Parkway, replacing the shuttered Beef O'Brady's in the space nearest Plaza Stadium Theater. Tracy Santosuosso, a representative of the restaurant, declined to comment.
