STANLEY LEADS NATIONWIDE IN DRIVING DISTANCE

Berkeley Hall touring pro Kyle Stanley isn't the biggest guy on the Nationwide Tour.

Still, the 5-foot-11, 165-pound golfer currently leads the tour in driving distance with an average drive of 319 yards. The 2009 Ben Hogan Award winner played college golf at Clemson and is currently 39th on the Nationwide Tour money list.

"I think it's the least important stat in golf," Stanley told PGATOUR.com. "What it comes down to is getting the ball in the hole. Driving distance doesn't mean that much out here."

After a solid start to the season, Stanley has struggled as of late, missing the cut in his last eight starts. Beaufort native Mark Anderson has also struggled recently, missing four cuts in his past five starts.
