Hospital recognized for respiratory care

August 17, 2010

Hilton Head Hospital recently received national recognition from the American Association of Respiratory Care for providing first-rate respiratory care. The Association's Quality Respiratory Care Recognition recognizes hospitals who meet strict safety and quality standards relating to the provision of respiratory care services by qualified respiratory therapists. By having appropriately trained and certified staff, together with a Pulmonary Function Laboratory and dosimeter, Hilton Head Hospital is able to offer precise tests for breathing problems such as adult-onset asthma.
