The Bluffton library Youth Services staff would like to thank the following organization and businesses for their support of the 2010 "Make a Splash" Summer Reading Program: the Friends of the Bluffton Branch Library, Rita's Italian Ice, Chick-fil-A, Outback Steakhouse, Wendy's, AMF Main Street Lanes and Yostie Ashley.
Each summer, our program attendance continues to grow. This summer, a total of 1,236 children and teens registered. Your generous contributions greatly sparked their enthusiasm to register and read all the books they signed up to read at the beginning of the six-week program. Most of the children set very high reading goals for themselves, and almost half of those that registered completed their contracts.
The Youth Services staff and all the children and families who participated in this fun summer reading program appreciate the community's interest. Thank you very much for your support.
