Sergio Garcia and Mike Weir both agreed to play in the PGA Tour event, set for April 12-18 at Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island.
Garcia hasn't played the Heritage since 2002 and Weir hasn't been here since 1999.
The two join a field that includes defending champion Brian Gay, Jim Furyk, Rickie Fowler, Paul Casey, V.J. Singh, Trevor Immelman, K.J. Choi, Stewart Cink and Lucas Glover.
"I am beyond excited to make this announcement today," tournament director Steve Wilmot said. "The fact that this is shaping up to be one of the best fields we have had in several years shows the commitment the PGA Tour players have to this tournament."
Garcia has won seven PGA Tour tournaments and has 11 international victories to his credit. Arguably his biggest win was the Players Championship two years ago. The Spanish-born golfer also has starred on five Ryder Cup teams for Europe.
Weir has won eight times on the tour and was the first left-hander to win the Masters in 2003. Born in Canada, he starred at Brigham Young University before turning pro. He's earned more than $26 million in his career.
