SEALs deserve medals, not trials for actions

Our brave soldiers fight a cowardly enemy that hides behind a civilian population and engages in sneak attacks with scoped sniper rifles and explosive devices hidden in roadways and on indistinctive bodies. The enemy is perversely cruel, does not follow the Geneva Conventions, and enemy torture makes water-boarding seem like a sunny swim at Disney World. They display their accomplishments at the end of ropes hanging from bridges or dragged naked and brutalizedthrough community streets.

Our "leaders" advise our troops not to fire their weapons unless they clearly see an enemy's gun in a threatening position. This advice should be changed to: If in doubt, take them out.

Our brave SEALs risk their lives to capture alive a terrorist leader who complains that he was punched (I am all choked up) and our SEALs go on trial for "mistreatment."

U.S. military casualties, court martials and Miranda warnings would be reduced by simply extracting the ultimate sacrifice from the terrorist on his or her battleground. The terrorists would be delighted because of their next world rewards.

Any person who favors trials for SEALs, instead of medals, has an international agenda that is clearly not in the best interests of the U.S. Stand up and be counted, or you have no right to complain when our soldiers come home in boxes and our country dies a slow death.
