The Dolphins beat Augusta Christian 67-49 and the Eagles defeated Orangeburg Prep 74-52.
Hilton Head Prep shot over 50 percent from the field and had four players finish in double figures, led by Dimitri Lowry with 18 points and five assists. Dominic DiGenova had 17 points and five rebounds.
Matt Layman had 12 points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals. Patrick Andrews contributed 10 points and four rebounds.
"It was a good game for us," Hilton Head Prep coach Rich Basirico said. "What I was most pleased with was our balanced scoring. A lot of teams are playing Dominic (24 ppg) in a box-and-one and our other guys are doing a nice job of stepping up and distributing the ball. Our shot selection has been excellent."
Bo Strimpfel had six points and five rebounds. For Augusta Christian, Alex Turner and Brad Wells each scored 13 points.
Hilton Head Prep (19-7) will play the winner of a St. Joseph's/Laurence Manning game at 5 p.m. on Wednesday at the Sumter Exhibition Center.
In Hilton Head Christian's win, Zac Lenns had 20 points and seven steals while Ethan Gort finished with 16 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two blocks.
As a team, the Eagles shot 54 percent from the floor.
"We moved two jayvee players up for the tournament so we dressed 15 players," Hilton Head Christian coach Mike Colella said. "All but two scored tonight. We're finally back to scoring in the 70s, which is good. We went through a month and a half period where we couldn't put the ball anywhere near the basket."
Michael Hull finished with 10 points. For Orangeburg Prep, Sean Odom scored 14.
Hilton Head Christian (20-5) will face Wilson Hall in the second round at 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Sumter Exhibition Center.
