At&T adds cell-phone tower to Lady's Island

AT&T has activated a new cell site on Lady's Island to enhance wireless coverage for residents and businesses along U.S. 21, S.C. 802 and the surrounding area.

The new cell site is part of AT&T's efforts to extend its mobile network and build broadband networks, according to a company news release.

In December, AT&T activated a cell site to enhance wireless coverage for Bluffton area residents along Bluffton Parkway, Buckwalter Parkway and surrounding subdivisions.
