TV broadcast to focus on paying for college

A two-hour program to help students and parents looking for ways to pay for college will air from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday on South Carolina ETV.

"Finding Money for College" is being produced by ITV, a part of the S.C. Department of Education. Viewers can phone in questions during the live program.

The broadcast features financial aid officers from public and private universities, as well as guidance counselors and representatives from the S.C. Student Loan Corp., the state's Commission on Higher Education and the S.C. Higher Education Tuition Grants program.

It will be recorded and reaired at 1 p.m. Feb. 7.
