The girls tournament returns after a two-year hiatus.
The Hilton Head High boys have won the tournament only once in the previous 26 years, with that title coming into 2004. Goose Creek, the champions of last year's tournament, will not return to defend its title. In addition to the Seahawks, who have started this season 2-6 under first-year coach Ken Updike, the boys field includes Veritas Christian, Orangeburg Wilkinson, Wilson, West Ashley, Woodmont, Bishop England and Airport.
The girls bracket includes Veritas Christian, Bishop England, Wando, Orangeburg Wilkinson, McDonogh, West Ashley and Airport.
The championship games will be held Monday. The girls title game starts at 3 p.m. Monday, with the boys game to follow at 4:30 p.m.
