Cornhole tournament benefits Holiday Heroes

Monster Pizza of Bluffton will conduct a charity cornhole tournament Saturday to benefit Operation Holiday Heroes. Event-day registration begins at noon. Those who register ahead of time will get a T-shirt. Prizes will be available. The entry fee is $15 and an unwrapped toy.

Operation Holiday Heroes is a collaborative effort among United Way of the Lowcountry, Toys for Tots and agencies such as the Salvation Army, the Beaufort County Department of Social Services, Bluffton Self Help, The Deep Well Project, the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Junior Service League of Beaufort, The Beaufort Gazette and The Island Packet. The main goal of the program is to make sure every local child has presents under the tree to open on Christmas morning.
