A Hilton Head Island High School student was arrested at school Tuesday morning on a charge of threatening the life of a teacher, according to a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office incident report released Friday.

While being escorted to an in-school suspension for inappropriate behavior, the student allegedly told an administrator that if the teacher "keeps giving me a hard time, I'm going to hit her," according to the report.

When the administrator told him not to make threats, the student said "I don't care. She's going to get hit," the report said.
