Thomas Heyward 57, Dorchester Academy 33: Caitlyn Cooler scored 18 points, had seven rebounds and made two steals as Thomas Heyward advanced to the finals of the Coca-Cola Classic tournament at Thomas Heyward.
Brielle Jungblut had 14 points, seven steals and two assists while Ashlie Layman had 12 points, three assists and four steals. The Rebels will face Colleton Prep at 6:30 p.m. today in the finals. Colleton Prep defeated St. Andrew's 48-40 in the first round.
Bulloch Academy 41, Hilton Head Christian 28: Erica Sonberg scored 13 points and Ellie Patterson added six for the Eagles. Hilton Head Christian (0-1) will be back in action next Monday, hosting Beaufort Academy at 6:30 p.m. in the first round of the Warhawk Invitational.
Hardeeville 52, Keenan 42: Shantis Lee scored 20 points and Jomanda Smalls added 19, leading Hardeeville past Keenan in the first round of the Georgia vs. South Carolina preseason tournament at North Augusta High School in Georgia.
