AAUW, Women Voters host former ambassador

The League of Women Voters of Hilton Head Island and the American Association of University Women Hilton Head Island/Lowcountry Branch will host ambassador Linda Tarr-Whelan at a joint luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 9 at The Jazz Corner in The Village of Wexford, Hilton Head Island.

Tarr-Whelan, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, will discuss "A Better Future When Women Lead the Way."

Cost is $25. Reservations and payment are due by Dec. 2.
