All Saints Garden Tour accepting applications

The 2010 All Saints Garden Tour is seeking applications from Bluffton and Hilton Head Island nonprofit organizations that would like to be considered as beneficiaries for next year's event. All letters of request should be received by the church no later than Nov. 30. All profits from the 23rd annual Garden Tour, which will be held May 15, will be donated to several local organizations. The Garden Tour is part of the outreach program of All Saints Episcopal Church located on Hilton Head.

Send requests by writing to All Saints Episcopal Church, Attention: Ann Winters, chairwoman of the Executive Board of the Garden Tour for 2010, 3001 Meeting St., Hilton Head Island, SC 29926. Each letter of request should include the organization's mission statement, sources of income for the organization, and why funds are requested from the Garden Tour. Each group that is selected to receive a portion of the proceeds from the Garden Tour will be asked to provide volunteers to help with the event, and to sell tickets.
